AMC Waterloo Industry Day – Fall 2019

November 27, 2019

Following the success of our inaugural Showcase in April 2019, we are pleased to announce our Fall 2019 Industry Day. We invite the industrial community, researchers and government representatives to join us for discussion of advanced manufacturing technologies, collaboration opportunities, job creation and business growth.

The presentations will focus on how advanced manufacturing technologies are accelerating innovation in the automotive, food, mining, biomedical, general and additive manufacturing sectors.

Kick-started in 2017, the Ontario Advanced Manufacturing Consortium (AMC) is a provincially-funded initiative between University of Waterloo, McMaster University and Western University. AMC at Waterloo includes over 250 research faculty, students and dedicated staff, enabling projects of all sizes – including products, processes, prototypes, and more – to be completed on rapid industry time lines.

AMC’s “no wrong door” approach facilitates industry access to research experts and world-class equipment to accelerate advanced technology adoption. As experts in technology transfer, AMC works hand-in-hand with industry to drive innovation, job creation and growth.

Review www.oamc.ca for additional information on AMC, including how we help industry, our research capabilities, and stories of manufacturing sector impacts.
